The Ashling Murphy murder trial will not open for another two weeks.
32-year-old Jozef Puska, of Lynally Grove, Tullamore in Co Offaly, is accused of the schoolteacher's murder on January 12th, 2022.
The case was listed for trial today but the Central Criminal Court heard this morning that there will be a requirement for a pre-trial hearing before a jury is selected.

Pre-trial hearings were introduced last year to help trials run more smoothly from start to finish
When issues are dealt with in advance, it reduces the number of times a jury has to be sent away for legal argument.
The case is due to be mentioned again at 2pm this afternoon.
