Police in the UK had to be called to deal with crowds in Ipswich after a faulty cash machine starting dispensing extra money.

Last night a Lloyds TSB ATM began issuing twice the amount people had asked for.

It is thought around 30 people pocketed extra cash following the fault.

It is reported arguments broke out among those trying to use the faulty machine.

The bank is quoted as saying that the machine was put out of service following the issue.
