Police are investigating an attempt to rob an ATM in County Antrim.
PSNI Detective Sergeant Lenaghan said it happened at a petrol station in Largy Road area of Ahoghill at around 2:05 am.
He said a car, believed to be a dark-coloured Vauxhall Vectra rammed the outside shutters of the shop a number of times.
A man then got out of the car and attempted to break into the ATM inside.
He was unsuccessful and made his escape in the car.
Police are calling on anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles in the area between 2:05 am and 2:25 am to contact them.
It is the second time an ATM has been targeted in the town. A digger was used to steal a machine in the town centre in April of last year.
