The mother of late Thin Lizzy front man Phil Lynott spoke about the dangers of drug use at the unveiling of his newly refurbished statue this morning.
"When young people get involved in drugs, they think it makes them laugh and it makes them happy. But they don't realise that they're getting hooked."

The statue returned to Harry Street in Dublin today after it was knocked over in May. It has been placed back in its rightful spot outside Bruxelles Bar on a concrete base fixing it permanently to the ground.

An anonymous donation covered the €4,000 fee it cost to fix the statue.
