The winning lotto ticket from last night's draw was sold in sold in Slane, Co. Meath.

Mimnagh's shop on the Main street sold the €12 multi-draw ticket on Tuesday evening to one lucky winner.

The numbers drawn were 8, 9, 14, 15, 42, 44 and the bonus was 36.

The jackpot totalled €6.5 million.
