A baby boy has been pulled from the rubble of the Nepal earthquake, 22 hours after being buried under the collapsed building, according to report in a local newspaper.
Kathmandu Today has published images of the rescue, with rescuer carrying the dust covered baby, reported to be four months old, from the wreckage.
Soldiers searching through the rubble at first missed the child, according to reports, and only spotted him when they heard a faint crying.
Rescuers worked into the night attempting to reach the boy, stopping at midnight, before returning in the morning. The boy’s father continued working through the night. The baby was taken from the rubble at 10am, according to the reports.
