Gardaí in Donegal are appealing for information regarding a suspicious fire at a house in Ballyshannon overnight.

The fire brigade attended the fire at the unoccupied house in Parkhill at around 3AM.

Extensive damage was caused to the detached dormer house - a forensic scene investigation will be carried out later.
