A ban on Irish Times staff members, columnists and contributors appearing on Bauer Media Audio Ireland radio stations has been lifted.

The media group - which consists of Newstalk, Todayfm, 98fm, Spin 1038, Spin South West and Off the Ball - says the decision has been communicated to The Irish Times and they look forward to working with them in the future.

It follows a review of the restrictions earlier this week.

Bauer Media Audio expanded to its eighth country earlier this week when it completed its acquisition of Communicorp Media.
