Bank of Ireland has said its ATMS are back up and running after an IT glitch put them out of service for much of the afternoon.
The issue affected machines at 250 branches across the country.
Its mobile app and online banking services were also affected.
In a statement this evening, the bank said all its channels are now back online.
It said it had extended the opening at some of its branches until 8pm this evening.
“We again apologise for the disruption this has caused our customers,” it said.
Earlier a spokesperson for the bank said it was a network issue, with technicians working to fix the problem as a clear priority.
The bank said its credit and debit cards were working as normal.
It apologised for any inconvenience caused.
