Bank of Ireland has announced the full list of branches being closed across the country.
The firm this morning confirmed they'll be closing 88 branches by the end of September.
They said the majority are self-service locations which do not offer a counter service, and comes amid an "acceleration in the uptake of digital banking” in recent years.
However, Bank of Ireland will be working with An Post to offer banking services at over 900 locations, with longer opening hours.
Francesca McDonagh, group CEO of Bank of Ireland, told Breakfast Business: "There's some in Dublin as well - it's not only outside of Dublin.
"It really is a reflection of usage, and proximity to a neighbouring Bank of Ireland branch and post office.
"We're not making a change until September, so we wanted to give everyone advance warning."
