Bank of Ireland has said Visa debit cards are now working normally after technical issues earlier this afternoon.
A number of the bank's customers had reported having issues with their cards.
Social media users contacted the bank saying their cards have been declined, despite money being available in their accounts.
Bank of Ireland acknowledged customers were experiencing problems, saying it was a 'technical issue'.
In a statement, they now say the problem has been resolved.
"We would like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that some debit card customers experienced this afternoon," the statement adds.
