US President Barack Obama has made history as the first sitting US President to visit Burma.
He landed in Rangoon this morning alongside Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
He met opposition leader and democracy activist Aung San Suu Kyi in her home where she spent years under house arrest.

The President is spending just 6 hours in the country.
Addressing reporters alongside the democracy activitist in Rangoon this morning President Obama thanked her for the "power of her example"which he says has been an inspiration to people around the world, including himself.
Obama also said that it is clear Burma is making significant steps towards democracy.
