Bauer Media Audio Ireland has acquired leading Irish media sales house, Media Central.

It brings the media sales agency under the Bauer umbrella alongside Today FM, Newstalk, 98FM, SPIN, Red FM, Off The Ball and audioXi.

Media Central is home to some of Ireland’s most dynamic radio networks, currently reaching nearly 2.3 million highly engaged listeners every week. The company already represents Bauer’s Irish brands.

The move represents the next step in a longstanding, successful relationship that has seen the two businesses working closely together for a decade.

Gavin Deans will continue to lead Media Central as Managing Director and the company will continue to represent partners iRadio, Beat 102-103 and Classic Hits in the same way into the future.
