The Beef Plan Movement says it will continue protesting until factories agree to 'no-preconditions' talks.
Hundreds of farmers are demonstrating outside meat plants for the sixth day in a row.
They're angry about the low price they're getting for their stock.
Meat Industry Ireland says it will hold talks with them but only if the protests are called off.
But Beef Plan's David Whelan rejects the proposal.
“Meet Industry Ireland has said that they would be willing to negotiate with us but there are preconditions included in that.
We are stating categorically that we will not meet under any preconditions...
... and the only way we will meet with Meat Industry Ireland is if they agree to sit down and negotiate meaningful ways forward to come up with workable solutions for the farmer to achieve a realistic fair share of the end retail price.”
