Not quite sure of what the best picks of the box are for this week? Or will you regret that you didn't record something during the week when everyone is suddenly talking about it?

Fear not, Tom Dunne has you covered.

Sue Murphy joined Tom to pick out the best of the box this week and there really is a lot of great TV picks.

Film of the Week: The Princess Bride, 3e, 7pm

 
The Princess Bride is a 1987 American fantasy comedy adventure film directed and co-produced by Rob Reiner, and starring Cary ElwesRobin WrightMandy PatinkinChris Sarandon, and Christopher Guest.

Adapted by William Goldman from his 1973 novel of the same name, it tells the story about a farmhand named Westley, accompanied by befriended companions along the way, who must rescue his true love Princess Buttercup from the odious Prince Humperdinck.
 

 

Ireland's Rising, RTE One, Sunday 29th, 8.30pm
 
New series. Celebrities return to their home county, to discover the area's connection to the 1916 rising. The first episode features newsreader Anne Doyle, who was born in Co Wexford.

Mary McAleese and the Man who saved Europe, Tuesday, RTE1, 10.15pm
 
The former president-turned-canon-lawyer embarks on a journey in the footsteps of St Columbanus, the Irish saint and scholar who travelled across Europe during the Dark Ages keeping the flame of Christian civilisation alive and speaking truth to the power of Popes and Kings wherever he went.

Ryan Tubridy reveals this year's most talked-about toys, tested by children from all around the country. Plus, special guests, live music and lots of surprises.

New series. The residents of an affluent south London street struggle with their health, financial and family problems behind closed doors, watched by secretive artist Smitty, who has his own connection to the road. The community is wary and stunned when dwellers each receive a note bearing the words `We Want What You Have', through their letterboxes, but in due course begin to see their lives transformed. Toby Jones, Lesley Sharp, Wunmi Mosaku and Adeel Akhtar star in Peter Bowker's adaptation of John Lanchester's critically acclaimed novel.

Tomorrow's Food, Monday, BBC One, 9pm
 
New series. Dara O Briain and a team of experts examine the cutting-edge technologies and produce transforming how food is grown, bought and eaten around the world. In the first edition, Dara heads to Kent to visit hi-tech greenhouse farm Thanet Earth, which grows a high quantity of fruit and vegetables throughout the year - and all without any soil. Chef Angela Hartnett tackles sell-by dates with the help of the US military, greengrocer Chris Bavin is in Australia to see the world's leading robotic farm and technology expert Shini Somara is in Shanghai to immerse herself in the restaurant of the future.
 

Jessica Jones, Netflix

After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City. Krysten Ritter (JessicaJones) is joined by an amazing cast including David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval, among others.
