Billy Connolly has beaten cancer.
The 70-year-old comedian announced the news during an interview about Celtic's clash with Barcelona on Sky Sports News today.
"My health; I got the clearance on Wednesday on my cancer so I'm okay."
Last month a spokesperson for the Scotland native said he had undergone surgery for prostate cancer.
"Billy Connolly recently underwent minor surgery in America after being diagnosed with the very early stages of prostate cancer. The operation was a total success, and Billy is fully recovered."
However, they also said that he was being treated for the "initial symptoms" of Parkinson's disease, and it's still unclear how the star is coping with the degenerative disorder.
