Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh has withdraw a claim that she was sexually harassed while working at RTÉ.
Ms Ní Chofaigh’s case was due to be heard today at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) but her barrister, Claire Bruton BL, announced that her client "withdraws her allegation of discrimination by the respondent".
She continued that Ms Ní Chofaigh accepts the findings of an internal RTÉ investigation and that no compensation has been paid.
Ms Ní Chofaigh filed the complaint under the Employment Equality Act, alleging discrimination by way of harassment and that she had been sidelined by the broadcaster.
RTÉ denied any wrongdoing.
