A major Garda operation is underway off the coast of Wexford tonight after a trawler believed to be carrying a significant quantity of cocaine ran aground.
It is understood the vessel got into difficultly on Sunday night close to Blackwater village.
Two men on the boat were eventually winched to safety onboard a Naval Service vessel.

It is understood personnel on the vessel were tracking the trawler as part of a Garda-led operation.
Investigations are ongoing.
