Bob Hoskins has said thank you to his fans, after he announced his retirement from acting.

The 69-year-old released a statement yesterday, saying he was calling time on his career after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

He says he’s had a wonderful career.

Hoskins appeared in more than 70 films, including Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and most recently Snow White and the Huntsman.
