The bodies of 25 hostages have been recovered from a gas complex in the Sahara Desert, a day after Algerian troops moved in to end a 72-hour standoff.

Earlier, the Algerian Government said the death toll of hostages killed in the attacks would rise after at least 23 people were killed over the four days.
