The body of a man has been found at an apartment block in north Dublin.

The discovery was made by Gardaí at Linnbhla Apartments in Ballymun shortly after 4pm this afternoon.

They say his age cannot be confirmed at this stage.

The scene is preserved pending the arrival of the Garda Technical Bureau.

The office of the State Pathologist has also been notified.
