An investigation is underway after the body of a man in his 20s was found in north Dublin.
It was discovered in a field in Balheary, Swords just before 3pm today (Tuesday) by a farmer who was working on the land.
Initial reports suggested it was a teenage boy but Gardai have confirmed this evening that it was a man in his 20s.
The scene has been preserved for a full technical and forensic examination and the State Pathologist has been notified.
Initial inspections of the body do not reveal any signs of violence but a Garda spokesperson says preliminary enquiries are ongoing and they will await the results of a post-mortem, which is due to take place tomorrow.
