Gardai believe the body of a young man found in north Dublin is that of an Eastern European man who was living in the area.
A post-mortem is being carried out to formally identify the remains which were discovered by a farmer yesterday afternoon.
Initial investigations suggest foul play may not be involved.
The body was found on land to the rear of a farm in Balheary in Swords. The young man was wearing jeans, an orange jacket and converse runners. He was not carrying identification. A sister of the farmer who made the grim discovery said the man had no visible signs of injury and appeared to have collapsed.
A post-mortem is being carried out at Loughlinstown Hospital to formally identify the remains and establish a cause of death.
Officers are following a definite line of enquiry and foul play is not suspected.
