A body which was recovered from Lough Ree in County Westmeath yesterday has been formally identified as missing angler Daryl Burke.
The 30 year old from County Armagh was fishing with two others on the lake in Athlone on March 20th, when their boat capsized.
27 year old David Warnock and 60 year old John Trimble were rescued within hours. Mr Warnock lost his fight for life in hospital days later.

Searches continued for the past three weeks and yesterday Daryl Burke's body was recovered from the water. A post mortem will take place at University College Hospital in Galway later today.
