A body has been located in the Comeragh Mountains in County Waterford during a major search and rescue operation.
The operation was launched on Sunday night after a Tipperary woman was reported missing.
The woman, aged in her 30s, failed to return from a walk in the mountains on Sunday afternoon.
A multi-agency search involving the South East Mountain Rescue Association (SEMRA), the Civil Defence, Rescue Dog Association Ireland (SADRA), the Coast Guard Rescue 117 helicopter and GardaĆ was launched.
Local farmers were also asked to look for her on their lands as the search continued.
This evening, GardaĆ confirmed that a body had been discovered.
The scene has since been sealed off and the investigation is continuing.
