The body of an Irish backpacker who was murdered in India has been returned to Ireland.
There will now be further tests on Danielle McLaughlin in Dublin, after an initial investigation in Goa found she suffered brain damage and constriction to the neck.
The body of the 28-year-old was found in Canacona 10 days ago.
An Indian national in his 20s has appeared in court charged with her murder, after a post mortem confirmed she was strangled and raped.
Officers arrested the man after obtaining CCTV images reportedly showing him with Ms McLaughlin in a number of locations.
She left Ireland to go travelling in February.
