The body of a teenage boy has been recovered from a reservoir in Co Clare.

It's believed he entered the water from the bridge at Ardnacrush Power Station at about half past four this afternoon, and the Shannon rescue helicopter was dispatched to the scene.

It's the third drowning on Irish waterways in the past 24 hours - and the sixth so far this week.
