Bohemian Football Club have confirmed a "historic" friendly against Palestine at Dublin’s Dalymount Park.
The match between the two women’s teams will take place on May 15th - which is also the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, a term that refers to the displacement of Arabs when the State of Israel was founded in 1948.
Funds raised will be used to pay for the Palestinian team’s expenses and humanitarian aid in Gaza.

Speaking to Newstalk, Bohemian Football Club COO Daniel Lambert said it will be the Palestinian team’s first time playing in Europe.
“We’ve been in dialogue through the Palestinian Ambassador in Dublin [and] with the Palestinian PA since November, just to try and see if we could arrange a game,” he said.
Mr Lambert said that, as well as helping to raise funds, the match is an opportunity for supporters to demonstrate their support for the besieged territory.
“It’s a chance for people to come out and show solidarity, to show their sadness and probably anger and frustration at what’s happening to people in Palestine,” he said.
“We show the news reports day after day, the number of deaths getting higher and it’s now verging on famine.”
Since October, when Hamas launched a terrorist attack on Israel from Gaza, an estimated 30,000 Palestinians have died as a result of the actions of the Israeli Defence Forces.
