Bohemians have confirmed they are in talks with the Palestinian FA about arranging a friendly against the Palestinian national team in Dublin.
In a post online the Dublin club said the talks, facilitated by the Mission of the State of Palestine in Ireland, have been ongoing for “several months".
Should it go ahead, all proceeds from the game will go towards humanitarian causes.
The club's 2023 shirt in support of ‘Palestine: Sports for Life’ remains on sale and the club said it sent another payment of €8,000 to the West Bank last week.
“These payments are used to support children's right to play football as a tool to try relieve the huge trauma they are suffering on a daily basis,” it said.
We have been in contact with the Palestinian FA for several months in attempts to arrange a friendly at Dalymount Park.
Talks are continuing, facilitated by @IrePalestine, as we try find a suitable date 🇮🇪🤝🇵🇸
All proceeds would be used for humanitarian purposes.

The Palestinian team played a friendly against a representative side in South Africa earlier this month.
Meanwhile, FAI CEO Jonathan Hill yesterday told the Public Accounts Committee that an approach had been made to stage a friendly between Palestine and the Republic of Ireland – but a suitable date could not be found.
