Police in Belfast have carried out a controlled explosion on a suspicious object.
It was found on Tate Avenue to the south of the city this morning - and army bomb experts were called to the scene.
They carried out a controlled explosion. The road has now re-opened.
It comes after a week of violent protests, sparked by a decision from the Parades Commission not to allow the Orange Order march through the nationalist Belfast neighbourhood of Ardoyne last Friday, the 12th of July.
Last night the PSNI reported fewer incidents involving crowds and violent behaviour, but there were at least 4 security alerts in the last 24 hours. Among them, the incident on Tate Avenue, another on the Shore Rd. - also in Belfast. The other 2 happened on the M2, and in Tandragee in Co. Armagh.
Police officers have appealed to the public to protest peacefully.
