British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been moved out of intensive care, with Downing Street saying he remains in hospital for now.
Mr Johnson was moved into ICU at St Thomas' Hospital in London on Monday after his coronavirus symptoms worsened.
However, he is now being moved back to a ward at the hospital.
In a statement, Downing Street said: "The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery.
"He is in extremely good spirits."
The foreign secretary Dominic Raab has been acting as Mr Johnson's deputy in recent days.
Latest figures from the UK show there have been more than 65,000 confirmed cases there, with 16,784 hospitalisations.
Almost 8,000 people have died in the UK after getting COVID-19.
881 new deaths were confirmed today - a smaller figure than the one reported yesterday.
