In Boston, which has been battered by four snow storms since the new year, multiple feet of snow still separate the city from normality.
Often stuck at home, unable to attend work or school, Bostonians have been passing the time by jumping into the snow from roofs, windows and whatever else they can find.
So prevalent is this terend that mayor Marty Walsh has asked for it to come to an end:
“I’m asking people to stop their nonsense right now. These are adults jumping out windows,” Walsh said to the Boston Herald. “It’s a foolish thing to do and you could kill yourself.”
Foolish though it may be, the #BostonBlizzardChallenge hashtag has been getting a lot of traction lately.
