In the North a young boy has been rushed to hospital after being found in the street in Ballymena with his clothes on fire. 

He has been admitted to hospital with severe burns where he is in a serious but stable condition.

The incident happened in the Larne Road area at around 2:30pm this afternoon.

The circumstances surrounding his injuries are not yet clear.
