The Government has signed off on a €2.7 billion social protection package, Newstalk understands.
In Budget 2025, Minister for Public Expenditure Paschal Donohoe will announce 10 lump sums to support pensioners, carers, those with disabilities and families.
The payments include a €400 disability support grant, a €400 carer's support grant and a €300 fuel allowance payment.
Child benefit recipients will receive two double payments of the allowance - one in November and December.
There will also be double payments of the October and Christmas bonuses.
Those in receipt of the living alone allowance will be given €200 and those eligible for the working family payment will receive €400.
Families on the child support grant will receive €100 and parents of newborns will also receive an increased payment of €420 - up from the current rate of €140.
