There is a human side to illegal downloading – and it’s leading to bands splitting up.

That’s what Irish singer/songwriter Bressie has said, in explaining why his band The Blizzards split up.

It left the Mullingar man looking for work as a solo artist and songwriter, which took him to London – somewhere he admits he struggled.

Bressie explains how he feels about illegal downloading, and makes the point that artists have to make a living too:
