Dubliner Brian McFadden has come to the rescue of teen idol Justin Bieber.

The former Westlife star – who used to work as a security man at McDonalds – tackled a 14 year old fan who attempted to grab Bieber while he was appearing on reality TV show, Australia’s Got Talent.

Despite beefed up security during the performance, it was Brian – who presents the programme – who stepped in to save the day.
