Gardaí in Donegal are investigating after a newly-married couple's home was the target of an alleged arson attack over the weekend.

Two vans and a garage were burnt out at around 9 O'clock on Saturday evening while the couple were at their own wedding reception.

Gardaí are treating the incident as arson, and they believe the attack was pre-meditated.

Up to €20,000 worth of damage was caused.
