A brother of Minister of State Shane Mc Entee has criticised Internet trolls who post criticism on websites without thinking of the consequences.
Gerry Mc Entee was speaking at his brothers funeral in Nobber in Co Meath when he said the last 4 weeks had been dreadfully harrowing for Shane.
He said Shane received so much criticism for his comments on the budget and he added 'shame on you people who made comments online - I hope you are not proud of what you have achieved'.
During an emotional tribute Gerry Mc Entee received two standing ovations from the thousands who packed out St. John the Baptist Church.
Mr Mc Entees remains will be carried to Nobber Cemetry by members of the army where the graveside oration will be delivered by the The Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
