The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation says a five-day trade mission to the United States will help to attract international companies to Ireland.

Richard Bruton has departed on a six-city trip and will take in parts of Houston, Austin, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Grand Rapids and Chicago.

Around 27 Irish companies will take part in 14 meetings during a five-day trade and investment mission.

Minister Bruton explains the significance of the event.
