There are new calls to move the Budget to a different time of year.

It is generally published in early December with the 2012 Budget spread across 2 days.

However retailers say this is a bad time to have such uncertainty in the economy.

Nigel Blow is the chief executive of Arnotts department store.

He wants to see it moved to a more “sensible time earlier in the new year”.

Speaking to Newstalk he believes we should take note of what the UK does for its budget.
