Jim Mansfield Junior's trial has heard he's accused of trying to destroy evidence relating to an alleged false imprisonment of an employee.
The son of the late hotelier, Jim Mansfield Senior, also denies "delivering up" the alleged victim to a gang of seven men ans asking another staff member to destroy CCTV footage.
He is accused of conspiring with others to falsely imprison Martin Byrne, a security expert who worked for Mr Mansfield's late father and continued to work with the family after his death.
As part of his job, Mr Byrne was allowed to live in a converted stable at the back of Tassaggart House – a Georgian mansion which was owned by Jim Mansfield Snr.
It is the State's case that the accused "delivered" Mr Byrne up to a group of seven men, who allegedly told him to leave his home immediately.
When he refused, it is claimed the men brought him back to his home where he and his wife and son were then held against their will.
Mr Mansfield also denies a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice by allegedly ordering another worker, Mr Byrne's brother Patrick, to destroy CCTV footage.
