A businessman is offering a €5,000 reward for anyone who can provide information - leading to the prosecution of those who attacked a 96 year old woman in Co. Donegal last weekend. 

George McLaughlin, of McLaughlin Motor Factors in Buncrana says he's disgusted by the aggrevated burglary which took place at Margaret ‘Greta’ Lilly's home last Friday night.

A man broke into her home in Aghilly punched her in the ribs, gagged her and stole a substantial amount of cash - which it's understood she had been saving to buy new windows for her home.

She survived the ordeal - and Gardaí say they're looking for two men in connection with this attack - who wore dark clothing, balaclavas and spoke with local accents.
