There were dramatic scenes in Dublin earlier after a schoolgirl was involved in a collision with a Luas tram in the city centre.
The incident occurred on the Red Line outside the Jervis Street shopping centre at around around 7:30am this morning.
Footage from the scene shows bystanders trying to help the girl, who can be heard crying in pain.
People then use their bodyweight to physically move the tram away from the girl, in a manner reminiscent of a similar incident in Australia earlier this month.
She was brought to the Mater Hospital as a precautionary measure with minor injuries. The incident resulted in disruption and delays to services this morning.
Luas say they are investigating the incident, and will be examining CCTV footage.
Footage shot at the scene shows what happened.
