The Criminal Assets Bureau has seized five cars and a pick-up truck in an operation targeting a Longford organised crime gang.
Bureau officers were supported by armed and uniformed Gardaí in carrying out the searches across eight counties.
The operation targeted the assets and activities of a gang believed to be involved in drug dealing in Longford.
Officers searched five homes and 16 business premises this morning.
They seized five Ford Focus cars and a Ford Ranger pick-up truck along with a TuffMac car trailer and a car towing dolly.
They also uncovered three Rolex watches and a number of designer handbags alongside €18,600 in cash and a number of fake €30 notes.
Finally they seized financial documents, computers and mobile phones.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of theft.
