A car and horsebox have been seized during raids by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) in Cavan-Monaghan.

Two properties were searched this morning as part of an operation in relation to the sale and supply of illegal drugs in the area.

CAB officers were assisted by the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Regional Armed Response Unit, and local gardaí.

During the searches an Audi A4 car and a horsebox were seized.

No arrests have been made.

Gardaí added that a CAB investigation "into the ownership of real estate property is progressing".
