Simon Harris is making two changes to Cabinet after he was elected Taoiseach by the Dáil today.
Peter Burke has been promoted to the Department of Enterprise, replacing outgoing Minister Simon Coveney.
The Longford-Westmeath TD will be replaced as a Junior Minister in the EU Affairs brief by Jennifer Carroll McNeill.
Limerick TD Patrick O’Donovan has been confirmed as the new Higher Education Minister.
Hildegarde Naughton is to remain in the role of Chief Whip but with an additional brief on special needs.
Helen McEntee is to remain Justice Minister despite speculation she could be demoted from the role.
Public Expenditure Minister Paschal Donohoe and Social Protection Minister Heather Humphreys will also remain in their current roles.
TDs are expected to vote on the new Government Ministers in the Dáil at 7pm, before the new appointees head to Áras an Uachtaráin to get their seals of office from President Michael D Higgins.
