The Cabinet will be asked to sign off on a €100 million aid package for Ukraine this morning.
€80 million of that money will be spent on procurement partnerships, while the other €20 million will be spent mostly on demining technology, as well as cyber security.
Meanwhile, the controversial move to get rid of the triple lock will be brought before Cabinet.

If the change is approved, the Government could deploy up to 50 troops to missions abroad without consulting either the Dáil or the UN.
Minister Harris will also ask for the President to appoint a new Chief of Staff for the Defence Forces - with the incumbent Lt General Sean Clancy taking up a role in Europe in June.

While the fallout of the turbulent international situation is reflected across the Cabinet agenda - with the Government to establish a reserve gas supply for Ireland, examine new measures to support SMEs and hear a warning from the OECD about Ireland's narrow tax base.
