Foreign ministers are calling for a 12 hour humanitarian truce between Israel and Hamas in Gaza to be extended
The truce is due to end at 6 o'clock tonight Irish time.
Talks have been taking place in Paris aimed at finding a longer-term solution to the crisis in the Middle East - where nearly 1000 Palestinians are now thought to have died.
Reports claim somewhere between 60 to 85 bodies have reportedly been pulled from underneath rubble in Gaza - since a 12 hour truce began this morning. A family of 18 was reportedly killed by Israeli tank shells shortly before the truce began. Two Israeli soldiers were killed yesterday, according to the IDF.
Israel military says it will continue to target tunnels Hamas has dug into its territory, despite the ceasefire.
