It is time for the government to compensate the victims of the PIP breast implant scandal according to one of the solicitors for approximately 1,000 women who had industrial grade silicone placed in their bodies.

The call comes after the Harley Medical Group, which carried out the majority of procedures in Ireland, applied to be wound-up in the High Court.
