The chairman of Dublin City Council’s Finance Committee has called for a re-balancing of Government spending in city and rural areas.

Dublin is subsidising the funding of local services in other counties by up to 50 times, according to analysis by Dublin City Council. 

Green Party Leader, Eamon Ryan, says there needs to be better regional structures in place, to support development outside the capital.
